Typographic Arrangement Explorations

This series focuses on the expressive potential of typography when stripped down to its essentials—black, white, and form. Working without color forced me to think about composition, hierarchy, and rhythm in a more intentional and expressive way. Each piece explores how type alone can communicate tone, movement, and structure.
By pairing each arrangement with a single image, I aimed to create a visual dialogue between text and image—where neither dominates, but both inform each other. The simplicity of the palette keeps the focus on contrast, spacing, and alignment, allowing small shifts in weight or placement to feel significant.
These explorations became a study in restraint: how much emotion and clarity can exist within such strict rules? It’s about finding balance, tension, and voice in the most basic design elements.
